Antalya

Antalya, Turkey is one of my favourite destinations in the country. It might not be as popular as Istanbul but it features a wide range of attractions and activities so you can make the most of your time. You can learn more about what I am talking about when you browse the posts in this section.

Another notable adventure I had in Antalya is when I went rock climbing. With limited experience, I was able to conquer my fear and brave the experience. With the help of a trusted guide, I can recommend this activity when you are in Turkey, even for the beginner or immediate level rock climbers. Feel free to read these posts to get some inspiration or insight for your next travel.

I am well known for not being scared easily and to me, rock climbing is all about trust and basically climbing from one hand and feet hole to the next. Well so I thought, but this was something else!

Mount Tunc Turkey: Sun, Sea, Sand and SNOW!

With each step I take, I sink further and further into the soft snow. Perhaps there is a cavity due to rocks below me but with each step I felt the snow give way a little. I needed to move a little to the left, or perhaps to the right! Either way, I am not going to get very far if I continue like this. I’m hiking up the snow flanked Bronze mountain also known as Mount Tunc, near Antalya, Turkey.
