Genesis Industrial Staffing is looking for 1st Class Pipe Fitters in the Pascagoula, MS area.  

• Must pass hair follicle drug screen and 7 year background check
• Pay is $42 an hour
• Per Diem of $180 for days worked is offered if you are 75 miles away and have a power, water, or gas bill in your name. 
• Offering a sign on bonus up to $1,500 and PTO !!!

Job Description: 
A First-Class Pipe fitter, also referred to as a Journeyman Pipe fitter, is responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings, utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints. Production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. As with most every position in the shipyard, a Pipe fitter may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Minimum 4 Yrs. trade experience  
• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills  
• Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves 
• Read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements
