An Assistant Director of Banquets is responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of the Banquet and Catering operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Salary: The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Management Experience: At least 5 years in banquet management, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a large team.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with staff, vendors, and clients. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various departments and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Multitasking Ability: Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
Administrative Proficiency: Comfortable with administrative tasks, including scheduling and budget management.
Union Management Experience: Familiarity with managing unionized staff and understanding collective bargaining agreements.
Proven Leadership: A successful track record in managing the banquet department, demonstrating strategic planning and operational efficiency.
