Behavior Technician - Fulltime to join our team at our program in Grand Rapids , MI. If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you!
- Earn to $16-$18.47 an hour. Monday – Friday 9:00am-5 and/or 11:30am - 7:30pm
POSITION DETAILS and DUTIES At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. You will get to have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment.
- Review and implement IEP or treatment plan
- Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation
- Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Interventions vary based on program regulations and appropriate training is provided based on same.
- Accompany and assist clients(s)/student(s) with activities and daily living which may include assisting with toileting and grooming.
