Job Description

Description Our Concord client is seeking a highly detailed billing, receivables and customer service specialist with Tyler Munis software experience. Additionally, having gone trough a system conversion or upgrade is highly desirables. Ability to post and reconcile receivables, place follow up calls on past due, and manage a busy desk during a time of transition. + Generate and distribute utility bills using Tyler ERP software based on meter readings and service data + Process payments, post transactions, and reconcile daily receipts within the ERP system + Maintain customer account information, including setting up new accounts, updating contact details, and processing service changes + Respond to customer inquiries regarding bills, payments, and account activity in a prompt and courteous manner + Research and resolve billing discrepancies and assist with collections while maintaining confidentiality + Prepare routine and ad hoc reports from Tyler ERP for management or external auditors + Coordinate with field staff to verify meter readings and service changes + Ensure all billing procedures comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards + Assist in month-end closings and other accounting support tasks as needed Requirements Qualifications: + Previous experience in utility billing or accounts receivable preferred + Previous experience in system conversions or system upgrades + Knowledge of Tyler ERP or similar utility billing software required + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Familiarity with basic accounting principles + Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
