Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square is seeking an experienced Breakfast Cook.
Qualified candidate will be trained on the entire menu with the goal of being able to prepare every item on the Breakfast and Lunch menu, meeting Sofitel standards of preparation, taste, organization, and knowledge of cooking temperatures. Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing the station, properly clean and butcher meats and fish, making all sauces and garnishes, be able to efficiently work on every Kitchen station. Candidate must be able to respond to the waiters for any special requests. Must have knowledge of all the equipment in the kitchen, sanitation standards and proper knife skills and be able to assist others and give guidelines to a dishwasher, pantry cook and trainees.
The candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience on the line in a fine dining restaurant with French / American cuisine a la carte. Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision and organize a station independently.
