Job Description WE ARE HIRING! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bridge Engineering Intern to join our Tampa, FL office.

Our Internship Program,
Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it's like to work in a professional environment and apply what's learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures
- Support the senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines for bridges and civil structures
- Complete technical training courses assigned for career development
- Review shop drawings for compliance with design plans
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience with prior experience working with a team in a professional setting
- EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026). Interest in graduate degree preferred.
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to learn analysis software including MathCAD, Excel, and bridge modeling tools.
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: E.I. or E.I.T. (preferred)

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
