Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered behavioral health care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our 120-bed facility features evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

The Chaplain functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, group facilitator and role modeling to patients based on unit assignment. The chaplain utilizes clinical and pastoral skills to assist the treatment team in giving care to patients. Special focus is given to developing the religious resources of each patient in the healing process.

QualificationsDegree from an accredited college or university in Biblical or Religious counseling/studies preferred. Past experience in pastoral or ministry field required. One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness and chemical dependency (12 step program) preferred.
