Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Civil Facility Construction Inspector to join our team in Orange and Rockland counties, New York. The ideal candidate will oversee the construction and maintenance of gas and electric facilities, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a great opportunity for someone to influence the construction and renovations of our Energy Infrastructure! There is no per diem available as this is a lower-cost-of-living region, and the client preferred applicants' commute to be less than 2 hours. Responsibilities:

• Inspect the construction projects associated with utility facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets specifications.
• Be a transformational leader, positively influencing individuals and teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience with excavation, concrete, and civil construction required.
• Experience in gas and electric facility construction is preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA 30 and 10 certifications are preferred.
