A FedEx Utility Worker's role is to work at the FedEx yard at the airport performing a variety of duties based on business needs as dictated by the FedEx contract.

Responsibilities may include one or more of the following, but will not be limited to:   

• Escorting FedEx Vendors and Employees throughout the airport Hub. 
• Miscellaneous janitorial work. 
• Checking and changing oil on FedEx vehicles 
• Rebuilding dolly wheels. 
• Communicating effectively and professionally with both FedEx associates and TSA Agents while performing needed job duties. 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred (Associates degree in related field is desired). 
• 3 months of similar experience required. 
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. 
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. 
• Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions. 
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude. 
• Must possess good oral and communication ability.  
• Works is completed in a TSA governed area which requires finger printing and a Federal back ground check.
