Field Claims Adjuster - Independent Adjusting Firm - Base Salary to 80k/year - Pittsburgh, PA

Our client, a 20+ year independent adjusting firm operating in PA, NJ, DE, and parts of eastern MD is looking for a Field Claims Adjuster in the Pittsburgh/Western PA area to join their team.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the Field Claims Adjuster will be responsible for residential and some commercial property claims in the Pittsburgh/Western PA area. The Field Claims Adjuster will be responsible for on-site inspections of the loss/damage, writing estimates, evaluating damage and coverage issues through policy review, provide detailed reports, negotiating & settling all facets of property claims, etc. The Field Claims Adjuster can expect to handle a case load of 20-40 claims per month. Most are closed within the same day.

Qualifications:

3+ years of claims adjusting experience.
Xactimate and Simbility experience required!
Must have a vehicle that can fit a ladder.
Ability to climb & inspect normal 2-story roofs.

Compensation:

Base salary in the 60k - 80k/year range, plus a tiered bonus program based on closed files monthly.
Health Insurance, retirement benefits, gas card, mileage reimbursement, and eligible for a company car after 1 year.
Remote position in the Pittsburgh/Western PA territory.
