A growing B2B organization is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer for their eCommerce group to spearhead the development, enhancement, and support of their applications and integrated digital systems. This role partners with business analysts and stakeholders to transform requirements into technical solutions, deliver comprehensive full-stack projects, and maintain high-performance applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive technical capabilities in web development, significant B2B eCommerce background, and a collaborative, solutions-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert functional specifications and business objectives into scalable technical architectures
• Direct design initiatives for sophisticated, multi-system integrations
• Maintain consistency with architectural frameworks and user experience standards
• Build front-end functionality utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NextJS/ReactJS
• Create backend components and APIs leveraging ExpressJS, Node.js, and related technologies
• Architect and manage both SQL and NoSQL database environments
• Connect third-party APIs and external services
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security protocols
• Produce clean, sustainable, and thoroughly documented code
• Guide complete project delivery cycles within Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business partners to manage priorities, estimate efforts, and meet deadlines
• Execute quality assurance, testing protocols, and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
• Champion process enhancements to improve development velocity
• Collaborate with business units on deployment activities, training initiatives, and change adoption
• Track solution effectiveness and recommend optimizations
• Provide guidance to junior developers and facilitate code review sessions
• Remain current on evolving technologies and contribute to digital strategy planning

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional web development experience
• 8+ years of hands-on JavaScript development
• 5+ years working in B2B eCommerce settings including experience with major eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify Plus, or comparable)
• 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity guiding development teams
• 3+ years collaborating with distributed or offshore development resources
• Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ReactJS/NextJS), Node.js, ExpressJS
• Strong command of modern SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, plus tools including GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-resolution skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Track record integrating third-party APIs within eCommerce ecosystems
• Experience with performance optimization, scalability planning, and error management in web applications
• Background in Digital Marketing technologies and customer experience platforms

Additional Details:

• Up to 10% travel may be required
