Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Painter to join our team. This position is responsible for painting production parts in accordance with established specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be familiar with industrial painting practices and capable of operating both electrostatic and traditional paint systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts are properly prepared for paint prior to processing.
• Manually move parts through the painting, flashing, and drying phases of the paint system.
• Perform the full paint process, including:
• Mixing paint and solvents per manufacturer specifications.
• Operating automated mixing equipment.
• Applying paint using electrostatic and conventional spray guns.
• Monitoring time in flashing and drying sections to meet requirements.
• Inspecting and correcting work as necessary.
• Cleaning and flushing paint/solvent delivery systems.
• Coordinate maintenance of paint system equipment with the Maintenance Department or perform as part of routine tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper operation of the paint system.
• Support all functions of the paint line as needed.
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial or production painting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and protective clothing for extended periods.
• Must pass a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and in a team environment.
