Insulation Installer

Position –  Insulation Installer

Job Location –  Fond du Lac, WI

Starting Date –  ASAP

Employment Term –  Direct Hire

Employment Type –  Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift – hours will fluctuate

Starting Pay – $18 to $23 per hour

Required Education –  High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –  At least 2 years of experience in construction is helpful

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Insulation Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and new construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain insulation on mechanical systems such as steam pipes, hot and cold water lines, air conditioning ducts, and boilers.
• Select and apply appropriate insulation materials, including fiberglass, mineral wool, elastomeric foam, and cellular glass, based on project specifications.
• Measure and cut insulation to fit complex shapes and surfaces.
• Seal joints and seams with appropriate adhesives, tapes, and jacketing to ensure a tight, secure fit.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in insulation installation or construction is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site/shop.
