Note : This position requires employees to work on a hybrid schedule, with four days per week on-site in either the Miami or Tampa office (subject to change after the first 90 days).
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of bankruptcy or litigation docketing experience using a rules-based docketing software.

Job Description
- Manage litigation and bankruptcy docketing and calendaring for attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice groups
- Calculate and calendar critical deadlines using rules-based docketing software (Compulaw strongly preferred)
- Review pleadings, motions, and court documents for date-sensitive information and ensure timely notifications
- Research and gather case, party, and court information through databases such as PACER, Westlaw, and CourtDrive
- Provide guidance on local, state, and federal court rules, filing procedures, and deadlines
- Create and distribute docket reports and apply quality control measures for accuracy and risk management
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff in weekly team meetings and ongoing projects
- Support miscellaneous docketing and research assignments as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in litigation or bankruptcy docketing with rules-based docketing software (Compulaw preferred)
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures
- Familiarity with litigation and bankruptcy case phases, from initiation through appeal
- Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attorneys, staff, and court personnel
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
