Job Description

Town Chrysler Jeep Dodge is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full Time Lot Porter. To be successful in this role, employees will manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly. The Lot Porter will be responsible for assisting with the overall appearance and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring it is clean, safe, and presentable to customers. This role involves working closely with the sales team to contribute to the smooth operation of the dealership and provide excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the dealership's parking lot and inventory of vehicles
• Prepare and move vehicles for guests
• Perform lot checks to ensure all vehicles are present and accounted for
• Keep accurate records of vehicle movements and inventory
• Wash and clean vehicles regularly
• Ensure all vehicles have adequate fuel for test drives or deliveries.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent is required to support dealership operations.
• All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to work shift work and weekends as required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
