Job Title: Low Voltage Technician Location: Milwaukee, WI Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range:$20-$30/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Position Summary Join a growing team specializing in the installation and support of low voltage systems for commercial clients. This hands-on role involves working with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other security and communication systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities + Install and maintain low voltage systems: structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and A/V systems + Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, fiber) + Mount and configure security devices such as cameras and access control panels + Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams + Troubleshoot and repair system issues + Operate lifts and heavy equipment safely (lift certification required or obtainable) + Ensure compliance with NEC, BICSI, and OSHA safety standards + Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs Qualifications + 1-3 years of experience in low voltage or security system installation + Proficient with hand tools and cable pulling techniques + Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces + Strong problem-solving and communication skills + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation + BICSI Installer I or II certification preferred + Lift certification required or willingness to obtain + Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
