Machine Maintenance Technician job at Express Employment Professionals - Taunton West Bridgewater, MA, US

Job Description

Our client in West Bridgewater, MA is looking to direct hire multiple Machine Maintenance Technician's to join their team for their night shift (your choice). This position is responsible for performing general machine, equipment and building maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Pay & Schedule

Base Pay: $24 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift Differentials:
Nights (Mon–Fri): +$2.00/hr | Sat–Sun: +$3.00/hr
Work Week:
3-day week = approx. 34 hours
4-day week = approx. 46 hours ( guaranteed OT every other week )

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance and repair
Complete product changeovers as needed
Conduct preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects
Support production team with troubleshooting and repair
Maintain accurate maintenance records and paperwork
Assist with quality audits and testing when needed
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety policies, and company procedures
Report and address any food safety, quality, or compliance concerns
Participate in corrective action teams and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

Required:

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
General maintenance knowledge
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented

Preferred (a plus):

Knowledge of PLCs
Experience setting up cameras and working with heat sealing processes
Electrical background
