Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer Job Description As a Expert Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead quality activities that ensure custom manufactured and fabricated assemblies meet design intent, functional requirements, and customer specifications. You will be a technical leader for GD&T and measurement practices, support the Quality Management System (QMS), manage PDM/drafting process improvements, and play an active role in shop/fabrication inspections, prototype testing, and supplier quality. Responsibilities + Lead quality activities to ensure that custom manufactured and fabricated assemblies meet design intent and functional requirements. + Act as a technical leader for GD&T and measurement practices. + Support and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS). + Manage PDM and drafting process improvements. + Participate actively in shop and fabrication inspections. + Involve in prototype testing and supplier quality assurance. Essential Skills + Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement. + Extensive Experience in quality engineering and Six Sigma methodologies. + Advanced skills in GD&T, FEA, and project management. + Capability in process improvement, validation, and quality control. + Experience with SPC and quality assurance in manufacturing/fabrication environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field. + 5+ years of relevant quality assurance or quality engineering experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments. + Proven skills in GD&T and drawing interpretation for complex assemblies. + Master's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. + Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred. + Certifications such as ASQ CQE or CSQE, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt. Work Environment This position is based in an onsite office environment. The role involves collaboration with various departments and hands-on engagement in shop and fabrication settings. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Strong Internal company benefits.
