TBEST SERVICES INC. is seeking a dedicated and efficient Logistics and Material Handling Specialist to join our team. This role combines the essential functions of a Warehouse Packer / Material Handler and a Forklift Operator, focusing on the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's warehouse through effective material handling, packaging, and inventory management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport products within the plant, ensuring all materials are supplied to production lines, presses, and slitters as needed.
• Load orders onto trucks and shipping containers with precision, avoiding damage during loading, shipping, and unloading processes.
• Organize incoming inventory, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently.
• Collect and package orders according to the list provided, ensuring products are packaged carefully and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections of products and packaging equipment, recording any defects and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards according to SOPs and cGMP.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning machines and areas after shifts and performing general housekeeping duties.
• Learn and perform multiple warehouse stations and duties as assigned, contributing to the flexibility and efficiency of the operation.
• Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks on assigned forklifts and other equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Fork Lift Certification
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred, with previous experience in a warehouse environment highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and overtime as required.
• Basic English language skills to read simple instructions, and basic writing and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the ability to perform calculations using common units of measure.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver s license

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• This role requires regular standing, walking, sitting, handling, and reaching. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and smelling.
• Frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift heavier weights with or without accommodations.
• Must be able to climb stairs and possess visual acuity.
• The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and occasional risks of electrical shock. Noise levels are usually moderate.
