Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Maternal Care
Location: Bronx Borough, NY (ZIP: 10004)
Job Summary: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Maternal Care Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel and/or Local job .
Key Responsibilities:
Provide maternal and child health nursing services in patient homes within the Bronx Borough.
Manage 4–8 cases per day, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, and patient/family education.
Deliver high-quality care to patients with needs related to labor & delivery, NICU, pediatrics, or other maternal/child health conditions.
Document all care activities in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.
Promote evidence-based practices and advocate for patients and families.
Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in Med-Surg, Maternal & Child Care, Critical Care, or Pediatrics .
Current maternal/child home health experience.
Prior experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) and NICU required.
Education & Licensure:
Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification.
AHA BLS certification required.
Work Schedule & Details:
Hours Per Week: 40
Hours Per Day: 8
Days Per Week: 5
Schedule: Day shifts, rotating weekends required
Caseload: 4–8 home visits per day
Setting: In-home care (true field role, requires local travel within the Bronx Borough)
