**MIG/TIG Welder** **Job Description** As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will engage in both MIG and TIG welding processes, along with some fabrication and minimal mechanical assembly work. You will primarily weld large custom industrial ovens, working from blueprints to execute both bench and custom welding tasks. The primary material used is stainless steel, and the role involves using hand and power tools as well as basic fabrication equipment. The welding and assembly time is split, with 75% dedicated to welding and 25% to assembly. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG and TIG welding on large custom industrial ovens. + Work from blueprints to TIG and MIG weld ovens. + Engage in a combination of production and custom welding tasks. + Utilize hand and power tools along with basic fabrication equipment. + Conduct welding on mild and stainless steel materials. + Assist with mechanical assembly as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel. + Mechanical aptitude. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers a pension of $2.05/hr with fantastic benefits, vested after five years. Employees receive two raises annually, with potential increases during union negotiations. It promotes a laid-back culture with some urgency around timelines and deadlines, ensuring a balanced and productive atmosphere. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Lakeville, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr. - Pension offer - $2.05/hr. and fantastic benefits. The pension is vested once you work there for 5 years. - 2 raises every year. One annually and one every August - The raises are anywhere from $.40 - $.60. They are having a union negotiation later this year to hopefully increase the raises. - They are offering up to 10 hours of OT during the Mon-Fri Week. At times they are offer OT on Saturday and Sunday.
