Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts and products by setting up, operating, and tending metal or plastic molding, casting, or coremaking machines
• Ensure conformance to specifications by using precision measuring tools to measure and visually examine products for surface and dimensional defects
• Manage the operation of automatic machinery to ensure that products meet quality standards and to detect jams or malfunctions
• Make necessary adjustments and learn basic troubleshooting
• Regulate pressure, temperature, speed, and feed rates
• Set cycle times
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to establish setups, temperature, and time settings and plan production sequences
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work with team to meet company’s quotas and goals

Position Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully
• Work in a fast-paced environment with precision
• May need to stand for long periods
• May need to engage in repetitive motions including bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail
