Location: Onsite, Framingham, MA, 2-3 day's a weekJob Type: 1 year contract with potential for extensionCompensation: $25-$28/hr W2We are seeking a Creative Multimedia Design Specialist to develop and produce graphics, trend research books for print and e-publication, printed presentation materials, short format videos, and other forms of digital communication necessary to convey Trend research in compelling and professional formats. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for emerging design trends, strong visual communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team. They must be able to manage both longer term project timelines (8-10 weeks) and quick / last minute graphic design needs that are necessary to effectively communicate to our internal audience. Responsibilities: Use Adobe Suite to layout and create trend research digital and print media. Use established templates to execute the quarterly book deliverables while working with trend leadership to redesign and/or update these templates. Create short format videos on a quarterly basis with Trend leadership. Provide digital assets to Product Development colleagues using internal Sharepoint sites while coordinating with external resources using DropBox. Participate in the research and communication of this intel to the team. Participate in the set-up of quarterly Home Trend presentations. Design printed presentation signage that includes trend logos, hero images, info graphics, call-out cards, and other necessary signage. Manage the quarterly print publication of trend presentation books and signage ensuring it is accurate and completed on-time with approval & edits of the trend leadership team. Be prepared for physical labor to set-up trend presentations: climbing ladders to hang sings or hero images, moving fixtures, furniture, or other home products to aid in the team effort of completing the set-up. Qualifications: At least 2 years graphic design experience. Experience designing printed and digital media. Should have experience with textile, interior or industrial design. Strong proficiency with Creative Suite. Portfolio should be up to date on trends.
