In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with our engineering and operations teams to build, test, and optimize network architectures that power our mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities - Build and configure virtual network environments to support testing and development of secure connectivity solutions.
- Assist in implementing and testing routing protocols, connectivity configurations, and network performance optimizations.
- Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools, identifying and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Document network designs, configurations, and test results to ensure clarity and support team collaboration.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate network solutions into broader system architectures.
- Participate in design reviews and team discussions to propose improvements and solutions for network challenges.
- Support ongoing projects by analyzing network data and contributing to performance enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and network tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, and network topologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and network engineering challenges.
Preferred Qualifications - Coursework or hands-on experience with network configuration, virtualization, or cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) or network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles or secure network design practices.
- Interest in aerospace, secure connectivity, or AI-driven technology solutions.
