MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional Outlet Processor to join our Market Outlet Center team! Qualifications

No educational requirements. Ability to speak English effectively to respond to questions from customers, donors, team members, and leadership. Basic math skills preferred.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Handles all donations with care and respect.
  • Tips donations into bins and sorts goods into categories.
  • Inspects donated goods and remove potentially harmful items for safety and high-quality items for online sales.
  • Maintains high quality and high quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
  • Efficiently and safely transports bins to and from the sales floor.
  • Straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the store, including the sales floor, warehouse, and donation dock, efficiently to adhere to Goodwill Retail Procedures.
  • Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings, assistance, and thanks, to in-person customers, donors, and those over the phone.
  • Reads and follows all operational procedures and agency employee handbook policies
  • Maintain a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
  • Safeguards agency assets, including cash, donated and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
  • Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
