Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Transferring the mould between mould shop & moulding. Arrange necessary requirement to set-up the mould.
• Set up the machine by loading & unloading the mold by effective utilization of SMED concept.
• Arrange proper work instructions & other required documents to set up the mold or Component.
• Effective utilization of measuring instruments to qualify the component during set-up.
• Follow proper safety measures at the shop floor.
• Check proper work plan & daily activities with the manager & execute at the right time.
• Should be able to do screw cleaning, when material changeover will happen with the target time.
• Get knowledge on MIM process & follow the instructions directed from the manager.
• Follow the established system for setting up the mold & entering quality measures of the component into the systems.
• Maintain 5’S’ in the shop floor.
• Monitor Production by fixing the target.
• Co-ordinate with other co-worker in the shop floor to achieve production targets.
• Co-operate with Production Team lead/Engineer to complete desired work on time.
• Maintain tools & other accessories required for the Mould set-up & preventive maintenance to be carried out on those accessories timely basis.
• Must be ready to take other responsibilities added from the manager.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
• Having good experience in setting up the mold in any Injection molding company.
• Flexibility to respond & work according to production plan changes.
