About the Job:

We are looking for state tax accounting professionals who have experience performing research and writing memos.

Location is not important as Interns work remotely. However, due to increasingly tough labor and tax laws, we no longer hire in the states of Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and Washington. This position is not open to anyone outside the US. You must have good internet and a professional quiet place to work.

About the Company:

We are passionate about state tax. Our mission is to educate and assist companies, CPAs, and other tax professionals to understand multi-state nuances, to successfully avoid or limit audit assessments. We offer services as well as solutions.

  Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience performing research and writing memos..
• Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of state tax experience.
• Experience with tax research sources is a major plus.
• We are a fast-paced high-volume firm.
• You must be able to work quickly and accurately.
• You must be self-motivated but be willing to take direction and ask questions.
• You must be able to think outside of the box.
• Sales tax knowledge is a major plus.
