Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with strong residential design experience to support the development of construction documents design plans and project drawings. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of residential building codes architectural standards and drafting best practices. This role works closely with project managers architects and engineers to produce accurate high-quality drawings for new builds renovations and additions.
This role is fully onsite in Longwood FL
Salary: $25-30/hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings floor plans elevations sections and site layouts for residential projects using AutoCAD.
- Develop and update construction documents based on design specifications field measurements and client requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with residential building codes zoning requirements and company drafting standards.
- Revise and finalize plans based on feedback from architects engineers and project managers.
- Maintain organized project files drawing logs and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve design conflicts verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- 3 years AutoCAD drafting experience
- Residential CAD drafting experience
$25 - $30 an hour
