What You’ll Own in This Role

• Client Ownership and Technical Leadership
  Manage all aspects of client engagements in the estate, trust, and gift tax space. Act as lead advisor on complex, multigenerational strategies. Provide high-level review and guidance for technical accuracy and strategic alignment.

• Advisory Expansion and Opportunity Identification
  Introduce and lead additional client services such as succession planning, charitable structuring, and business entity design. Collaborate with internal teams to expand value beyond compliance.

• Team Leadership and Development
  Guide and grow a high-performing team. Deliver in-the-moment coaching, provide training on complex tax strategies, and help staff navigate both technical and client service challenges.

• Process Optimization and Internal Collaboration
  Drive operational improvements across engagements, workflow, and tax technology platforms. Work across departments to ensure seamless client delivery and firm-wide integration.

• Practice Growth and Reputation Building
  Actively participate in the estate planning and private client community. Attend or speak at forums, represent the firm in networking settings, and generate opportunities through referrals and visibility.

• Technology and Innovation Integration
  Proactively identify ways to improve performance using automation and AI-enabled tools. Leverage technology for tax research, document review, engagement tracking, and client insights.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• CPA required, with a background in public accounting or advisory roles focused on estate, gift, and trust tax
• Extensive experience managing complex client relationships and overseeing technical tax engagements
• Proven ability to develop people and build strong teams
• Strong interest in career stretch, leadership development, and long-term growth
