We are seeking an experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operatorto join our team in Newark, CA. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-focused, and skilled in both forklift operation and warehouse computer systems. This role plays a key part in receiving, moving, and tracking warehouse inventory.
Unload and inspect incoming shipments from trucks, containers, or similar transport.
Document receipt details accurately using computerized inventory systems.
Verify shipment quality and report discrepancies or damages immediately.
Safely operate stand-up forklifts to move and organize inventory.
Ensure operations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues promptly.
Use inventory management software for scanning, tracking, and reporting.
Perform accurate data entry and generate inventory records or reports as required.
Work within Windows OS, Microsoft Office, or warehouse management systems.
Minimum 1 year experienceoperating a stand-up forklift.
Strong computer skills including data entry and inventory software use.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or moreand work on your feet throughout the shift.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proven track record of safety and reliability in warehouse environments.
