We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) for a temp-to-perm opportunity in New York City. This is a full-time traveling position covering all boroughs, providing wound care services to PACE participants (elderly population) in the field.
Compensation: $75-80+ per hour, pending experience
Responsibilities
Provide wound care assessment, treatment, and follow-up for PACE participants in the field.
Manage 4–5 patients per day, ensuring quality and continuity of care.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document care and progress in the EMR system accurately and timely.
Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention strategies.
Maintain compliance with nursing standards, state regulations, and organizational protocols.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
Wound Care Certification (required).
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience; prior wound care experience strongly preferred.
Experience working with geriatric or PACE populations a plus.
Ability to travel to multiple boroughs; valid driver’s license preferred.
