**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder who can perform high-precision welding on a variety of materials including Stainless Steel, Carbon, Aluminum, and Specialty Alloy Steel. The ideal candidate will collaborate with machinists to ensure parts are welded according to project specifications, and will be proficient in reading blueprints, diagrams, and weld symbols. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding with high precision on materials such as Stainless Steel, Carbon, Aluminum, and Specialty Alloy Steel. + Collaborate with machinists to ensure welding is performed according to project specifications. + Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and weld symbols. + Execute TIG welding in various positions, as welding will not always be on a fixture or jig. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of TIG welding experience. + Proficiency in TIG welding on various materials with different thicknesses. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and weld symbols. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with welding stainless steel, aluminum, and TIG MIG. + Familiarity with welding repair, finish welding, and CNC programming. + Knowledge of welding inspection, weld shop, weld assembly, and fitting. **Why Work Here?** Join a close-knit team that values fun and quality. The shop is clean and organized, with a small weld area that requires maintaining order. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Johnston, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
