**Job Title: Tig Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join our spray department. This role requires an individual with keen attention to detail, capable of handling repetitive tasks, as the work involves smaller parts. Experience with CNC drill machines is a plus, as you may be operating one part of the time. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate TIG welder, including purging and regulating current and voltage, and selecting the appropriate filler rod type and size. + Set up and operate an orbital welder. + Work in accordance with detailed drawings and instructions. + Lift and carry parts of various sizes, shapes, and weights, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. + Demonstrate a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization. + Participate in the continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience with TIG welding. + 2+ years of experience welding on stainless steel and aluminum. + 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting welding blueprints. + Proficiency in quality inspection, welding, stainless steel, weld assembly, hand tool, mechanical, machine build, and machine building. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + ASME Certified with five years of work-related experience. + Integrity, Excellence, Respectful Relationships, and Financial Success. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
