Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to design and develop innovative user interfaces for web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both UI/UX design and front-end development with proficiency in ReactJS or AngularJS, as well as experience with Python and machine learning (ML/NLP) libraries. This role requires a combination of design skills, technical acumen, and the ability to work seamlessly in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design & Development : Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for web applications using ReactJS or AngularJS , ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
User Research & Testing : Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather insights to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
Wireframing & Prototyping : Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into user-friendly designs.
Design Innovation : Stay current with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the products remain innovative and user-centric.
Mentorship : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, ensuring design consistency and quality across all platforms.
Agile Process : Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to the iterative design and development process.
Design Implementation : Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs and maintain a high standard of design feasibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience :
10+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design and development .
8+ years of experience with design tools such as Sketch , Figma , Adobe Creative Suite , and prototyping tools.
8+ years of experience working with front-end frameworks , specifically ReactJS or AngularJS .
7+ years of coding experience in Python , with proficiency in ML/NLP libraries .
Proven ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in HTML , CSS , and JavaScript .
Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
Soft Skills :
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the healthcare domain is highly preferred.
Experience mentoring or managing junior designers.
Familiarity with user data analysis and using feedback to make informed design decisions.
