**Now Hiring: Production Utility Workers (ENTRY LEVEL)** **Job Description** Utility workers are responsible for essential job functions that keep their specific department running smoothly. They handle products, materials, and supplies physically and inspect products to ensure high quality. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload HPP torpedoes. + Stand bottles up at HPP discharge. + Operate the HPP dumper. + Make and pre-build boxes. + Bring in fiber and packaging materials for the lines. + Load caps into cap hoppers. + Perform general labor related to the bottling process. + Conduct general labor related to shipping, pack-out, receiving, and inventory. + Build pallets and lift, move, and stack cases up to 50 lbs. + Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant. + Ensure regular and reliable attendance. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of previous production experience, preferably in food and beverage. + English/Spanish + Ability to lift 50 lbs, with most tasks involving consistent handling of 10 lbs. + Experience with general production, packaging, packing, bottling, and operating filling machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous food and beverage production experience is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package upon conversion, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other ancillary benefits. The position requires working in a refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°F and occasional exposure to freezer warehouse conditions at -10°F. Expect continuous exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of PPE such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The role demands the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and safely. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
