**Armed Special Police Officer** **Wage:** $32.00-38.00 per hour **Schedule:** Flexible Schedule - Monday - Friday **Are you a dynamic and outstanding Armed Special Police Officer?** If you have seven (7) or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, or the military, you're a great fit for this role. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled Armed Special Police Officer who holds an active SPO Armed License and is certified to carry a 9MM firearm. This role requires a polished professional appearance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods. **Key Requirements:** + Active SPO Armed license or ability to obtain. + Minimum seven (7) years of armed security, military (armed forces), or law enforcement experience. + 9mm/Shotgun Certification + Firearms proficiency to include the ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. + Proficient in firearm safety + Experienced in situational awareness & observation. + Ability to make fast and sound decisions, particularly in high stress situations. + Strong verbal and written communications skills required for report writing. + Problem solving ability to investigate incidents, gather details, and escalate security challenges. + Be able to make quick and efficient decisions without supervision present. + Be fluent in use-of-force techniques. + Be knowledgeable about the current events in the DC area. + Polished Professional Appearance + Physical Endurance: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods. **About Us:** Securitas is a global company offering the most advanced and sustainable security solutions in the industry.
