We are currently seeking a Process Engineer for a fast-growing manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on, floor-focused role that plays a critical part in production support and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring parts meet all required specifications from design through delivery.
Lead the initial stages of part and mold design, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Oversee tooling modifications to ensure final parts conform to customer prints and specifications.
Collaborate with both the injection molding and CNC departments to ensure compliance with PPAP, FAI, and quality standards.
Assist in modifying injection molding machinery and automating tooling processes to improve efficiency and product consistency.
Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates throughout the design and production phases.
Manage customer relationships and ensure their technical requirements are fully understood and met.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of injection molding processes, mold design, and tooling functionality.
Proficient in interpreting CMM data and inspection reports to identify and resolve tooling issues.
Strong knowledge of technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
