Position Title: JVA Functional Consultant – German Speaking

Location: Remote with possible travel (project support for Germany, US, Latin America)
Language Requirement: Fluent in German and English (Mandatory)

Project Overview

SAP America is seeking a skilled JVA Functional Consultant fluent in both German and English to support a large-scale SAP PRA/GPA/JVA/PSA implementation for a leading Oil & Gas client. The focus is on Upstream Finance operations, with critical involvement in the Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) areas.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with German- and English-speaking stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
Deliver end-to-end solutions for PRA (Production Revenue Accounting) , GPA (Gas Processing Accounting) , JVA , and PSA .
Lead the design, build, and testing phases of JVA/PSA functionalities.
Coordinate project efforts with ExxonMobil teams located in Germany , the United States , and Latin America .
Operate within the Record-to-Report (R2R) process framework and the Polaris implementation methodology .
Support key deployment phases , including cutover planning , go-live , and post-go-live Hypercare .
Manage and track progress using Azure DevOps (ADO) Kanban board and ensure timely updates of user stories.
Align deliverables with SAP product teams , ensuring accurate documentation , training materials , and knowledge transfer .

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory fluency in German and English
Proven experience in SAP JVA/PSA implementation in an Oil & Gas industry context
Strong understanding of Upstream Finance processes
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively across regions
Proficiency in ADO , SAP documentation standards , and project lifecycle management
