Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position Location: Devils Lake, ND Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Days Pay: $2,482.20/week Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and support to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering safe and effective patient care. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians. * Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management. * Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing. * Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment. * Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed. * Document all treatments, assessments, and outcomes accurately. * Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. * Respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue and Rapid Response events.
