SharePoint Developer

seeking a seasoned SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365 Developer with deep expertise in designing scalable, metadata-driven solutions and automating business workflows. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming document management and collaboration frameworks using modern Microsoft technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 development.
• Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint content types, metadata structures, and enterprise information architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in Power Automate for building complex workflow automations.
• Strong grasp of SharePoint security models, permission structures, and governance best practices.
• Experience working with SharePoint REST APIs and integration methodologies.
• Skilled in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with JSON formatting for customizing columns and views.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a metadata-driven content type framework to replace legacy folder-based structures.
• Design and deploy a Partner Registry with robust, risk-oriented metadata fields.
• Establish and configure the document repository architecture aligned with business needs.
• Set up and manage security permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Develop and implement a notification and alert framework for proactive communication.
• Build onboarding and escalation workflows to streamline operational processes.

Technical Environment

• Primary Tools: SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power BI
• Scripting & Integration: PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON
