True words! My husband and I were just saying that it felt weird to be home this weekend. I feel like I’m missing out on something!
Ditto! But I am just going to make next weekend a great one 🙂
I can relate to every single one of these but #12 speaks to me the most! Loved reading these!
Best,
Aisha, Island Girl In-Transit
Thanks for your feedback Aisha. I am always adding to the list 🙂
Definitely cracked me up! #4 and #11 definitely resonated with me! I almost freak out when I don’t have flip flops when traveling somewhere for a weekend. Another thing I always think about is when I return from another country and find myself speaking phrases to others. When I got back from Japan I was apologizing and saying excuse me in Japanese when going through customs. People just thought I was strange… oh well! They just don’t understand. 🙂
Flipflops in the shower are sometimes essential. I can imagine that they would think you were strange but we think it is strange they wouldn’t understand 🙂
Haha #2 is always the sign for me! I’m sure people get so annoyed with me
I can talk all day about my travels so this is a major problem for me too.
Loved the post.Totally apt for everyone bitten by the travel bug.
Thanks Arnav. I have most definitely been bitten!
This was fun. I recognised so many of those and it made me laugh. Seems like you have had great times on your travels.
Thanks Paula, I’ve had some amazing times on my travels which I will never forget. I am glad that I made you smile 🙂
I love this post!
Thank you Joanne. I am glad you like it. K 🙂
” You get withdrawal symptoms when you haven’t travelled for a few months or feel the need to plan your next trip before coming home from your current trip.” – I am currently suffering form this!
Awww Zola, get planning 🙂
Thanks for the beautiful photo. I can identify to the majority apart from no 3, as Iv not been home long enough from this near five year travelling stint !
