With each step I take, I sink further and further into the soft snow. Perhaps there is a cavity due to rocks below me but with each step I felt the snow give way a little. I needed to move a little to the left, or perhaps to the right! Either way, I am not going to get very far if I continue like this. I’m hiking up the snow flanked Bronze mountain also known as Mount Tunc, near Antalya, Turkey.

Antwerp, is the second largest city in Belgium and has many proud sights to offer. But you’ve probably heard about this pocket-sized city from the movie “Snatch” or you just have good geographical knowledge. Nevertheless Antwerp is famous for a variety of things like the great painter Rubens, fashion and popular design schools, it’s harbour and last but not least a girl’s best friends, diamonds. Architecture is another aspect that makes this little metropolis so special. Most of the structures were built during the medieval times but you can also discover impressive Art Nouveau creations or even varied modern complexes.
Ever got to a place and thought it is so beautiful that you would like a bird’s eye view of the area? Ever wondered what it would be like to be a bird soaring through the sky? Well I experienced this while paragliding in Lake Garda from a hilltop.
Giovanni is a jolly Italian man with a passion for leading horse riding experiences in the Alto Garda Park, Lake Garda. With years of experience, he started his guiding days at the young age of 18 years taking tourists on walking tours of the area. He then taught himself to ride and borrowed horses to take tourists out into the local area, to show off the beauty of the area he lived in. On a beautiful day in Italy, I decided I wanted to experience via ferrata in Lake Garda. The actual translation for this is iron way, and it is literally this, a way made of iron. Iron rungs and rope are added to the rock to supplement natural hand and foot holds. In the event you were to slip, your harness would break your fall. . . well falling too far!
